A health help is offered by the following units:

AMBULATORY SECTION
Offers basic medical support in covenant with SUS, ophthalmological services and clinical surgeries, focused on clinical pathologies.

SURGICAL SECTION
The Surgical Center “Francesco Caniato”, offers general surgeries, head and neck, gynecology, ophthalmology, oncology, orthopedic, otorhinology, pediatric, plastic surgery, urology and vascular, besides dental treatment. Modern equipments and furnishings installed in 1993 offered a great impact on leprosy treatment.

LABORATORY SECTION
In order to give more comfort and agility to all services, clinical and surgical, a unit for laboratory tests was integrated with the hospital, earlier done outside. Besides giving quick diagnoses, it helps control the sanitary control all over the complex.

REHABILITATION SECTION
Its services are considered essential to leprous patients’ recovery and both physical and occupational therapies are extended to many others patients. The Orthopedic Shop constantly produces special insoles and adapted shoes.

INTERNAL SECTION
São Julião Hospital offers 200 accommodations arranged into 8 pavilions, especially for serious treatments or pos surgical recovering. Recently a new section, called “Fenegró” was installed, with 35 accommodations for patients presenting infectious-contagious diseases.

SCIENTIFIC SECTION
São Julião Hospital is constantly developing research programs and scientific events to update and qualify professionals in the area, pointing out “Omnia” – an international medical congress promoted by São Julião Hospital in partnership with Uniservitá degli Studi di Torino – Italy, Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and Lauro de Souza Lima Institute, Bauru – São Paulo.
